Bringing together the best in fine food and the casual atmosphere of the humble drinking hole, the new Courthouse needed a brand and identity to ease drinkers and diners into a relaxed eating and drinking social environment.

Seen has delivered a non-pretentious identity, fusing fun imagery and wordplay with subtle design principles, promising top end service for casual diners. The new Courthouse symbol brings together two of the venue’s strongest icons – the chef’s knife and the judge’s gavel – in a bold symbolic marriage that paves the way for the playful supporting identity.
